He'll bring all his knowledge and experience to the table as he casts an eye over the year ahead at this, our first major Queensland industry lunch of 2017.

Mike Stapleton, Acting Director-General, Queensland Transport and Main Roads
Mike was appointed Acting Director-General in October last year, stepping up from his role as Deputy D-G - Customer Services, Safety and Regulation.
Prior to this, he was Deputy Director-General, Infrastructure Management and Delivery for TMR. He has been a member of the TMR Executive Leadership Team since August 2014.
Mike has worked in the state public transport sector in finance, general management and transport safety roles for more than 20 years delivering key road safety initiatives including Graduated Licensing, Alcohol Interlocks and immediate suspension for recidivist drink drivers and the expansion of the Camera Detected Offence Program.
Mike holds a bachelor of Business (Public Administration) degree, obtained from QIT in 1983 and a Master of Professional Accounting, obtained from the University of Southern Queensland in 2000.
BOOKING POLICY AND CONDITIONS
Bookings are to be confirmed and paid in full 48 hours prior to the event. Bookings received 48 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed unless a confirmation has been received by the Events Director. Cancellations should be notified in writing by email. Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%. No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed.
