RA’s Strategic Plan 2022-2024 is a rolling, three-year document (reviewed annually by the Board) that affirms and defines our role as the peak body for roads within an integrated transport system.
Specifically, it articulates four core values and objectives that identify who we are and what we stand for:
- The Leader – to be a voice of influence.
- The Collaborator – to advance the efficiency, development and national priority of Australia’s roads and integrated transport systems which underpin the social, economic and cultural fabric of the nation.
- The Facilitator – to make a leading contribution to industry and public policy.
- The Champion – to champion a diverse, inclusive, sustainable and values-led organisation and industry.
The Plan itself provides more detail on our specific objectives and actions that are driven by these values.
The Plan also groups RA’s policy objectives around four key themes – Resilience, People, Place Making and Data & Technology.
Together, these themes reflect RA’s continuing evolution, as we strive to meet changing community expectations and embrace emerging industry opportunities.
