The Evolution of ITS workshop discussed transport network information and how the increasing sophistication of road and public transport data will evolve towards 2030.
A panel of expert researchers, entrepreneurs, industry and government representatives presented views on the evolution of intelligent transport systems and how data will provide customer service and industry insight for the next generation.
An interactive segment developed a 25 year road map to mark out the step changes the transport industry and road agencies need to make to stay relevant in this ever-changing world.
