Roads Australia Event Details

RA Cities of the Future Workshop (Brisbane)

31/10/2018 10:00 to 31/10/2018 14:00

Venue: Clayton Utz
Details:

This interactive workshop will focus on the SEQ City Deal and what it means for both South East Queensland and the State of QLD.

We’ll be joined by expert speakers who’ll seek answers to key questions like:

  • How can a focus on integrated transport and land-use planning deliver better outcomes for the community, the city and the broader State economy?
  • What factors are likely to shape SEQ’s future, and how should the opportunities and challenges arising from these factors be addressed in the City Deal?
  • How can active travel and new modes of mobility transform the city and the everyday lives of its residents? And what impacts will  they have on safety and sustainability?

We look forward to your participation.
