The Hon Nicole Manison MLA - Deputy Chief Minister; Treasurer; Acting Minister for Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics
Nicole is a born and bred Territorian, passionate about making a positive difference in her community.
She won the seat of Wanguri in a by-election in February 2013 following the retirement of former Chief Minister Paul Henderson. On Labor's election to government in August 2016, Nicole was named Deputy Chief Minister as well as Treasurer, Minister for Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics and Minister for Children.
In June's Cabinet re-shuffle, Nicole swapped out the Infrastructure and Children portfolios for Police, Fire and Emergency Services, and Business and Innovation, retaining her Deputy Chief Minister and Treasurer responsibilities. She is currently acting for Eva Lawler in the Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics portfolio.
Nicole is a proud local and grew up in the electorate. She attended local schools including Holy Spirit School, Dripstone Middle School and Casuarina Senior College before attending Curtin University and studying Journalism and Public Relations.
She has worked in the NT public sector in communications and human resources, as a senior government advisor and in the private sector in Perth.
A very keen sportswoman, Nicole loves netball and still plays and coaches for the Waratah Netball Club. Nicole supports Fremantle in the AFL and Waratahs in the NTFL.
Nicole lives in the Wanguri electorate with her husband Scott and children Aiden and Grace.

Bookings are to be confirmed and paid in full 48 hours prior to the event. Bookings received 48 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed unless a confirmation has been received by the Events Director. Cancellations should be notified in writing by email. Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%. No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed.
