Vince Sanfilippo, GM Queensland, CPB Contractors
As General Manager for CPB Contractors, Queensland and Papua New Guinea, Vince provides governance to this $1 billion market-leading operation, driving sustainable growth and continual performance improvement.
Leading a strong safety-first culture, Vince oversees projects spanning civil, building and resource infrastructure sectors, ensuring delivery in accordance with client and stakeholder expectations, often under close public scrutiny. Hands-on in his approach, he is recognised for developing and nurturing positive, productive relationships, and for his commitment to identifying solutions that consider and respond to the needs of all parties.
Alicia Fava, Executive Director, Building Queensland
As Executive Director of Building Queensland, Alicia leads the development of the State Government’s business cases for large infrastructure projects.
Alicia brings an intrinsic understanding of all phases of planning and delivery of infrastructure projects from her career experiences with major contractors, consultancies and now government.
She has been instrumental in the planning and development of numerous high-profile projects in Australia, the UK and the Middle East, including Wembley Stadium, the Gateway Upgrade Project, Brisbane Live, Saadiyat Island Development and the Dubai Waterfront.
Ivor Peries, Technical Director, Clough
Ivor commenced his career some 34 years ago as a site engineer on the Brisbane Domestic Airport Terminal Runways and Taxiways project.
Working for a Tier 1 contractor early in his career gave him a variety of project opportunities, both here and overseas, including a gas fired power station project in the Northern Territory, gold mine and oil development projects in PNG, and a large integrated resort project on the Gold Coast.
Ivor spent four years in Thailand as Project Manager and Operations Manager for Clough before returning to work in Australia as Project Director, Alliance Manager and later Regional Construction Manager for Thiess. His most recent success was leading Clough’s participation on the Clough Salini Joint Venture for Snowy Hydro 2.0.
Ivor is a past president of the Queensland Major Contractors Association (QMCA) and past chair of its Young Contractors Forum.
Rachel Fowler, GM Transport & Infrastructure, Beca
The past seven years of Rachel’s career have been spent in Australia working on a variety of multi-disciplinary infrastructure and resource projects.
In November 2017, she joined Beca as Operations Manager to lead the company's transport and infrastructure business in Australia. She has since been elevated to General Manager, and under her leadership Beca is strengthening its offering and growing its market share across the eastern Australian states.
Rachel combines approachable leadership with a passion for developing people’s professional careers. She promotes collaborative behaviours, client service excellence and pride in the ability to make every day better for clients and their customers.
Luke Abercrombie, Head of Technology QLD, Transurban
Luke commencedwith Transurban in October 2018 in a newly created role as Head of Technology, Queensland. He is responsible for technology across corporate solutions, Intelligent Traffic Systems in the tunnels and roads and for leading innovation across the organisation.
Prior to joining Transurban, he held a number of technology focussed leadership roles across media and publishing, electricity and financial services. He has led business transformations applying data and innovative technology for efficiency and commercial opportunity.
Recently, he led the commercialisation of a disruptive solution in the energy market for a high growth smart energy company. As a Queensland local, Luke also spent 4 years working in London.
BOOKING POLICY AND CONDITIONS
Bookings are to be confirmed and paid in full 48 hours prior to the event. Bookings received 48 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed unless a confirmation has been received by the Events Director. Cancellations should be notified in writing by email. Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%. No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed.

Registration and/or attendance also implies consent to be photographed at the event, and for those photographs to be used in various media for the purposes of promotion and publicity.
