The Melbourne Forum is one of the key networking and knowledge sharing events on our Victorian calendar.

This year's Forum has a particular focus on two areas:

  • the upcoming pipeline of major transport infrastructure projects, with insights on the planning, procurement and delivery timetables from key agencies
  • mental health across the construction industry, and what we can all do to make a difference in our workplaces

We'll also be joined by Transport Infrastructure Minister, the Hon Jacinta Allan, as our guest speaker over lunch.

OUR LUNCH SPEAKER

The Hon. Jacinta Allan,  Minister for Transport Infrastructure

Jacinta was elected as the Member for Bendigo East in September 1999 at the age of 25, making her the youngest woman to ever be elected to the Victorian Parliament. Prior to being appointed to her current role last November, Jacinta was Minister for Public Transport and Minister for Major Projects.

Before entering Parliament, Jacinta worked in the office of Steve Gibbons MP, Federal Member for Bendigo, and for two years prior to that she worked in the office of Neil O'Keefe, Federal Member for Burke, and the Commonwealth Department of Industrial Relations.

Jacinta was born and grew up in Bendigo and studied at St. Joseph's Primary School in Quarry Hill, and Catholic College Bendigo before completing her BA (Hon) at La Trobe University in Bendigo.

 

BOOKING POLICY & CONDITIONS

Bookings are to be confirmed and paid in full 48 hours prior to the event.  Bookings received 48 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed unless a confirmation has been received by the Events Director. Cancellations should be notified in writing by email.  Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%.   No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed.    

Please note:  Anyone registering for and/or attending an RA event does so on the condition and understanding that his or her name, company/organisation and title will be provided to other attendees. Registration and/or attendance also implies consent to be photographed at the event, and for those photographs to be used in various media for the purposes of promotion and publicity. Attendees’ names, organisations and/or titles may also be included in accompanying captions.
