Jon Whelan, Executive Director, Transport Project Delivery - Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI)
Jon is one of South Australia's most experienced infrastructure leaders.
His achievements include successfully leading the Torrens Road to River Torrens project team through DPTI's first competitive alliance procurement process, negotiating key agreements with the private sector enabling the almost $1 billion Festival Plaza Precinct redevelopment to proceed, and - in collaboration with industry leaders - implementing a Safety Charter to drive genuine step change safety performance across the South Australian construction industry.
During his time as Regional Manager - Eastern, Jon was responsible for the asset management of over 4,000 km of arterial road network and the operational performance of 12 River Murray ferries.
BOOKING POLICY AND CONDITIONS
Bookings are to be confirmed and paid in full 48 hours prior to the event. Bookings received 48 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed unless a confirmation has been received by the Events Director. Cancellations should be notified in writing by email. Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%. No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed.
