Join us for our first Young Professionals event in Melbourne for 2020 as we hear from three experienced leaders who have different roles on the West Gate Tunnel Project.

This event will provide insight in to one of Victoria's biggest transport projects, and to give you a rounded perspective we have invited speakers from the client, contractor and design consultant. Each of these speakers will detail what aspects of the job they are involved in, their key challenges and why they chose to sit on their 'side of the fence'.

PLEASE NOTE: We welcome attendance from all members, however our YP network is targeted at the under 35's of the industry.

OUR SPEAKERS

Patricia Thein - Design Manager East Zone, WGTP

Patricia is responsible for overseeing the development, interaction and delivery of the design component associated with the East Zone of the West Gate Tunnel Project for Transurban/Project Co.  She has been in this role for three years and thoroughly enjoys delivering this major project, focusing on effective resolution of design related issues and management of interfaces with rail parties, other major projects and O&M requirements.   Prior to working at Transurban, Patricia worked for engineering design consultancies for over 20 years, working with clients in the Government and Private sectors as a design consultant or manager of technical teams.  Her experience includes development and delivery of road and rail projects, water, mining and energy infrastructure across Australia.

BOOKING POLICY AND CONDITIONS

Bookings are to be confirmed and paid in full 48 hours prior to the event.  Bookings received 48 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed unless a confirmation has been received by the Events Director. Cancellations should be notified in writing by email.  Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%.   No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed.
