RA Procurement Reform Strategy Workshop (Melbourne)
05/03/2020 09:30 to 05/03/2020 13:15
Venue: Australian Institute of Company Directors
This workshop represents the next step of a process we kicked off last November, when Roads Australia, the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) and the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) hosted a roundtable with industry to unpick key issues that go to the heart of financial stability within the construction sector - principally, procurement and risk allocation.
Against the backdrop of a national construction pipeline that continues to grow in size and scale, we are bringing key stakeholders back together to further the development of an appropriate set of recommendations and a strategy to address the core issues, as a template for presentation to governments.
This workshop and its outcomes will complement the work being done in this space by the Construction Industry Leadership Forum (CILF) and others, adding further weight and substance to the current reform process.
OUR SPECIAL GUEST
