Roads Australia (RA) invites you to a join a Decarbonising Infrastructure Roundtable with INSW.

Date: Tuesday 26 November 2024
Time:
9am - 11.30am
Format:
In-person, invite only

Infrastructure NSW released the Decarbonising Infrastructure Delivery Policy in April 2024, which will become operational in April 2025.

Led by Kay Salvair-Smith: Deputy Chair, Reduce, Reuse, Recover Working Group, Roads Australia, this session includes an interactive workshop with a hypothetical scenario where fellow transport and infrastructure industry colleagues work together to test how the policy will work in a project setting.

The Infrastructure NSW team will also provide an update on:

  • Implementation of the Decarbonising Infrastructure Delivery Policy
  • Findings from a capability uplift survey
  • Development of a toolkit of resources to assist industry in applying the policy on projects
  • Including an Emission factor library and EPA Protection of the Environment Policy (PEP) & Monitoring

This session seeks a broad representation of the key disciplines who will be involved in implementation of the policy. These are ideally those involved in business case advice, design/engineering management, construction management, procurement/transaction specialists, and sustainability/carbon specialists.

Hear from:

Dena Jacobs, Executive Director, Strategy Division | iNSW

Said Hirsh, Head of Strategy Division | iNSW

James Logie, Director, Strategy Division | iNSW
