Tony Braxton-Smith has been Chief Executive of the Department of Infrastructure and Transport since October 2018, and is also the South Australian Rail Commissioner and Commissioner for Highways. Tony’s senior leadership role includes setting strategy and policy, overseeing implementation of programs, projects, initiatives and service delivery, and driving improved performance.
This event will enable you to hear directly from Tony about some of the major transport projects and initiatives now being delivered across SA, learn about opportunities for industry engagement and participation and understand more about how projects are delivering enhanced efficiency, safety, sustainability and community outcomes

Tony Braxton-Smith has been Chief Executive of the Department of Infrastructure and Transport since 2018. He is responsible for the design, delivery and maintenance of transport and state government-owned infrastructure, and all aspects of management and service delivery across all state transport networks.
Tony was formerly the Deputy Secretary Customer Services at Transport for New South Wales from 2011 to 2018. Previously Tony worked in the private sector, as Chief Executive of Great Southern Rail and Executive Director of Serco Transport Asia Pacific; Chief Executive of Dreamworld, and prior to that in senior executive roles with the P&O Group in Australia, New Zealand and Latin America. He holds an MBA from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Refund policy
Cancellations should be notified in writing by email. Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%. No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed
