RA released its Procurement Reform Report Update: Momentum for a sustainable transport sector at the end of 2022.
This report sets out the significant recent challenges the transport infrastructure sector is facing: global supply chain issues, geopolitical impacts, climate risks and capacity pressures in the labour market exacerbated by record pipeline of projects. The report makes a series of reform recommendations to help manage these challenges and place the sector on a more productive and sustainable pathway.
The report’s first recommendation is to provide governments with a forum to report the outcomes of reforms to the procurement process to industry. This webinar is intended to start delivering on that outcome, providing an opportunity for jurisdictions to outline their efforts in procurement reform and facilitate knowledge sharing among industry participants.
