Future Leaders’ Forum showcases next generation perspectives

The passion and enthusiasm shown by those who attended last week’s RA Future Leaders’ Forum was simply amazing – and showed just how dedicated the next generation of this industry’s leaders are to innovation, sustainability and connectivity for the community.

The keynote address by Kate Dundas, Chief Operating Officer, Sustainability Victoria helped to powerfully frame the afternoon’s conversations – encouraging participants to let their values guide their thinking, to actively include stakeholders in defining and executing decisions and to courageously challenge orthodoxies in a way that lets innovation thrive.

Verity Turner, Deputy Chair, RA Future Leaders Committee; Michael Bushby, Immediate Past President, RA; Benita Husband; Stuart Cook, Chair, RA Future Leaders Committee; Kate Dundas, COO, Sustainability Victoria; Georgie Fidge, RA Director – Membership

The forum then broke into table groups, with each table examining RA’s policy goals and putting their heads together to come up with clear, concise and specific policy objectives that will help the RA Board and our policy streams to guide RA’s policy activities over the next year.

We’ll be sharing further details about some of these ideas in the weeks ahead – so stay tuned!

Huge thanks to Benita Husband, Engineering Director – Victoria & Tasmania, CPB Contractors and all the team at CPB Contractors for partnering with RA to deliver this event.
