Mobility as a Service – or MaaS – is an idea that’s as much ‘in motion’ as it is ‘about motion’. The concept of planning, booking and paying for a seamless journey across modes isn’t exactly new, but it’s yet to gain significant traction here in Australia. Now, with the COVID experience under our belts, the big question is – how is MaaS likely to evolve to suit ‘the new normal’? To discuss this question, we’re joined by Professor David Hensher, Founding Director of the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies (ITLS) at the University of Sydney; Jacqui Banks, Melbourne Cities Director at Arcadis, and Aneetha de Silva Managing Director of Government – ANZ at Aurecon and Chair of RA’s Journey Reliability Policy Stream.
