The inaugural Fellowship Alumni Award, launched in 2025 to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the Transport Australia Fellowship Program.

This year’s winner is Stuart Cook, Transport Market Lead, QLD at BG&E.

A participant in the 2018 Fellowship Program, Stuart has remained deeply involved ever since, expanding the Fellowship program, leading the Queensland Alumni Chapter.

THE CRITERIA

Selection criteria for the award are as follows:

Indicative areas of contribution include active participation in the Fellowship Alumni Network, supporting delivery of the Fellowship and Emerging Leaders program, supporting current and future program participants and actively supporting efforts to establish a high-performing, diverse and inclusive transport sector.

Level of Contribution

The contribution must be outstanding and this will be assessed on the basis of its impact on Transport Australia, its program delivery and the industry.

Personal Achievement

It must be demonstrated that the candidate’s contribution significantly reflects personal endeavour, as distinct from the work of others.

Further Potential

Ideally candidates for the award will still have further contributions to make to the industry and the community. It is expected that the award will recognise their achievements to date and thereby enhance the opportunity for the candidate to make yet a further contribution.
