Megan works for Fulton Hogan as the Senior Asset Manager, working to support contract teams with pavement program development and strategic asset management frameworks.
Megan has 15 years of experience in asset management. Prior to joining Fulton Hogan, she worked in local government for over 6 years in various asset management roles, responsible for the asset management of Council’s road assets and strategic asset management across the organisation. Megan provided strategic direction to managing council infrastructure assets, prepared asset management plans and strategies, and undertook asset management maturity assessments for the organisation.
Prior to Council, Megan worked for the World Bank Group, delivering infrastructure projects in developing countries across the Pacific Islands. These included post-cyclone housing, airport and runway upgrades, and road resurfacing and rehabilitation programs.
Megan is a Director on the IPWEA NSW & ACT board, is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee, and chairs the Women in Public Works panel. She is also a member of the Road Safety, Bridge, and Transport Working Groups. Megan is a Chartered Professional Engineer and a Certified Asset Management Assessor.
Outside of her technical role, Megan advocates for engineers to be a recognised profession, supporting the industry to attract and retain young engineers, and advocating for diversity across the engineering sector. She is interested in the impacts of climate change on managing infrastructure, and building in resilience into our infrastructure.
