Roads Australia today bought together industry and government representatives for a policy webinar on establishing sustainable supply chains through the effective utilisation of circular economy principles. Thanks to Aurecon for partnering with us for this policy event.
‘Sustainable Supply Chains,’ was moderated by Jodie Bricout, Principal, Circular Economy, Aurecon – who also sponsored the webinar. Attendees heard presentations from:
- Alexis Davison, Director Program Services and Engineering, Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV)
- Steve Morriss, Head of Circular Economy, Close the Loop
- Sara-Rose Pogson, Unit Head Circular Economy, NSW Office of Energy and Climate Change
Speakers outlined examples of how to incorporate sustainable practice into everyday business, highlighting the role of government policy in driving demand, through to the successful implementation of sustainable supply chains on transport infrastructure projects of varying scale across the nation.
Our presenters also explored the growing opportunity for collaboration between jurisdictions and the public and private sectors to share knowledge and drive innovation across the circular economy.
