Roads Australia has this week announced Alex Berry, Pre-Contracts Manager – VIC & TAS at McConnell Dowell as its newest member of the Future Leaders Committee (FLC).
Alex brings more than two decades of transport sector experience to the FLC, having spent time working in both the public and private sectors as an engineer and project manager.
Additionally, Alex has an intimate understanding of the importance of the FLC’s work, having previously been an RA Fellow in 2019.
Alex will replace Jane Ada and Hollie Hynes who have stepped down from the FLC following a highly successful year for RA’s Future Leaders streams across both the RA Fellowship and Emerging Leaders Programs.
RA’s Executive – Programs & Events, Felicity Lampert, thanked Jane and Hollie for their work on the FLC and welcomed Alex on board.
“RA is immensely grateful for the hard work of Jane and Hollie during their time on the FLC, seeing our Future Leaders Programs expand through new events and offerings.
“We’re delighted to welcome Alex onto the committee, bringing extensive transport sector expertise and first-hand experience with RA’s Fellowship Program.
“We have recently welcomed a new cohort of RA Fellows and concluded our nationwide Emerging Leaders breakfast series for 2024.
“It’s an incredibly exciting time to be involved in RA’s FLC as we continue to champion the voice of youth across the transport sector and provide unparalleled opportunities for industry up-and-comers.”
