As RA prepares to head across the Tasman next month, one of our members has been awarded a key road maintenance contract worth NZ$220m over its initial phase.
Ventia has been selected for a five-year road maintenance contract by Auckland Transport (AT) for the Auckland West region that will commence on 1 September. The contract also includes an option for a further five-year extension.
The new deal will see Ventia provide reactive, routine and programmed maintenance and renewal activities across the network.
Ventia Group Executive Transport David McPadden welcomed the news, saying:
“Across New Zealand, our clients have relied on us to manage their complex road networks in safe, reliable ways for more than 30 years.”
