Roads Australia (RA) has today announced the 2024 intake of the RA Fellowship Program following an extensive application process, including record demand for places in the innovative, industry-leading development program.
The RA Fellowship Program is a unique mentoring initiative that matches industry ‘up and comers’ with some of the most experienced, senior leaders in the Australian infrastructure sector.
The program provides opportunities and encouragement for the next generation to develop leadership skills, build strong networks and stay engaged in our industry.
RA CEO Ehssan Veiszadeh welcomed the new cohort of Fellows, paying testament to the quality of applications from across the transport industry.
“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome some of the brightest young minds from across the full scope of the transport sector into our Fellowship Program,” Mr Veiszadeh said.
“Places are highly coveted, with the quality of applicants revealing how many amazing individuals are working on the delivery of infrastructure projects and driving innovation across the nation.
“Each Fellow will be matched with one of the most senior transport leaders in the nation, offering exclusive, detailed and highly attentive support to accelerate their growth in the industry.
“This program has been an essential stepping stone in so many careers across the transport sector and we keep a close eye on the progress of our Fellowship Program alumni.”
The 2024 intake reflects the broad array of career opportunities available within the transport industry with participants coming from engineering, consultancy, construction, communications and legal backgrounds.
