RA is establishing three new Policy Stream Expert Panels (PSEPs) to support the work of our policy streams for:
- Sustainability;
- Customer Experience; and
- Transport Reform
In recent years, RA’s Capacity Expert Panel and Road Worker Safety Working Group have helped to provide guidance and support to RA’s policy activities across our Capacity and Safety policy streams.
We are now seeking to emulate that approach across our other policy streams, to ensure the policy activities set out in the RA Strategic Plan and corresponding annual RA Policy Operational Plan benefit from regular input and knowledge-sharing among our members.
Members of the new PSEPs will be involved in responding to policy consultations and reviewing RA submissions on an as-needed basis. There will not be a need to attend regular formal meetings, although group discussions involving panel members may be convened on occasion.
