Dr Lexi Schwarz is the Manager of Environment at South Australia’s Department for Infrastructure and Transport.
She earned a PhD in Bioremediation from Flinders University and previously worked as a contaminated land consultant, applying her research in a practical setting.
Dr Schwarz now leads a team that sets the strategic direction for environmental advisory services, including environment, contamination and Aboriginal heritage.
Her focus is to create innovative business models that improve the Department’s expertise and operations whilst ensuring compliance and effective project decisions.
