Shaun Gillespie is a District Works Manager with 14 years’ experience working with Transport for NSW predominately within Maintenance and Delivery which focuses heavily on maintenance, road safety improvements, and road rebuilding projects.
Shaun is accomplished in delivering road construction projects throughout all stages of the project lifecycle and now leads a diverse team of 100 frontline staff to perform essential maintenance work on the NSW Far North Coast Road network.
Shaun enjoys the challenge of working in leadership roles which has led to applying aspects of football refereeing and studying a Master of Business Administration to seek out ways to improve leadership knowledge. To drive business improvements Shaun relies on his strengths of bringing people together, effective communication and clear decision-making to direct a collective team response to achieve the best solution.
Outside of work Shaun has an expanding family with his fourth child on the way. When not busy as a father you will find Shaun enjoying a passion for building and creating, riding downhill mountain bikes, playing football and snowboarding.
