Members of the RA team were proud to attend this week’s CareerSeekers Spotlight event at Melbourne Town Hall on Tuesday evening.
CareerSeekers supports skilled refugees and asylum seekers recently arrived in Australia by placing them in suitable roles with partnering organisations – many of which are also RA members.
The evening was an incredible opportunity to hear powerful personal stories from highly skilled refugees and asylum seekers about opportunities they have secured through internships and ongoing roles with leading organisations, including many in the engineering sector.
It was also traffic to learn more about how those placed in roles through CareerSeekers have been able to use their own perspectives and experiences to enhance diversity and workplace culture within their organisations, helping to build an industry that better reflects the community it serves.
