RA CEO Michael Kilgariff attended this week’s farewell at Infrastructure Australia (IA) for outgoing CEO Romilly Madew AO and outgoing Chief of Policy & Research, Peter Colacino.
Both Romilly and Peter have been hugely important collaborators with RA during their time at IA, and have always been ready to lend their expertise to our policy publications, events and webinars.
Their work has also benefitted our entire sector, most particularly the 2021 Australian Infrastructure Plan which continues to help chart our course out of the COVID-19 pandemic, and last year’s crucial Infrastructure Market Capacity Report, which is helping industry and governments ensure we have the workforce, skills and materials needed to deliver a record transport infrastructure pipeline.
Fortunately, Romilly and Peter’s skills will not be lost to our industry, with Romilly set to become CEO of Engineers Australia, and Peter joining Avista Strategy.
Thanks to both Romilly and Peter for their support for RA over many years. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with them in their new roles.
