Join us at our upcoming Melbourne Industry lunch to hear from Deputy Premier and Minister for Transport Infrastructure, the Hon. Jacinta Allan MP.

As the Victorian Government continues significant investment in major transport infrastructure projects across the state, this is a timely opportunity to hear about the Victorian Government’s priorities and pipeline prioritisation in addition to procurement initiatives and reform.

With the Deputy Premier's ministerial responsibilities also covering delivery of the Suburban Rail Loop this is a chance to hear how the Victorian Government is progressing a state shaping project in a difficult investment environment, simultaneously leveraging infrastructure construction for broader social outcomes.

In partnership with:

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Hon. Jacinta Allan MP

Deputy Premier
Minister for Transport and Infrastructure
Minister for the Suburban Rail Loop

Ms Allan is currently the Deputy Premier of Victoria, Minister for Transport and Infrastructure and Minister for the Suburban Rail Loop in the Andrews Labor Government.
Ms Allan was elected to Parliament in 1999 and is the longest serving female Minister in Australia’s history and Victoria’s longest serving Labor Minister.
As Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, Ms Allan is overseeing the delivery of the largest investment in transport projects in Victoria’s history including the removal of 110 of Melbourne’s most dangerous and congested level crossings, the construction of the Metro Tunnel, Melbourne Airport Rail and the Regional Rail Revival package, which will make improvements to every passenger line on the regional network.
Ms Allan is responsible for the delivery of Victoria’s major road projects including the West Gate Tunnel, North East Link and upgrades to key suburban and regional road networks.
As Minister for the Suburban Rail Loop, Ms Allan is responsible for the delivery of the state-shaping Suburban Rail Loop project which will transform the way Victorians travel and connect to health, education and employment centres across Melbourne’s middle suburbs. As the biggest transport project in Victoria’s history, the Suburban Rail Loop will create a pipeline of investment renewal in key precincts, bringing services and jobs closer to communities and neighbourhoods.
Ms Allan also has oversight of the planning, development and delivery of precincts and urban renewal projects, including Arden, Footscray, Parkville and Sunshine. Central to this, is unlocking the potential of infrastructure projects to transform communities, improve transport connections, promote business investment, create jobs and deliver new housing as Victoria continues to grow.
