Krystal is the Deputy Director Commercial and General Counsel at the North East Link State Tolling Corporation, which is responsible for managing, operating and maintaining the North East Link road and the setting and collection of tolls on the North East Link tollway when the project opens.
Domestically, Krystal advised the Victorian Government in relation to issues arising on the West Gate Tunnel Project and in respect of the several procurements being delivered as part of the Regional Rail Revival project.
Internationally, Krystal lived and worked in Doha, Qatar and London, United Kingdom, working at a US private practice law firm. Krystal predominately provided advice in relation to international arbitrations concerning multibillion dollar transport infrastructure and energy megaprojects, largely in emerging markets.
