Transport for NSW (TfNSW) has announced Ventia will provide asset management, operations and maintenance services for both the Sydney Harbour Tunnel and the Western Harbour Tunnel.
The agreement is for an initial term of 15 years, with two ten-year extension options. Ventia is now working with TfNSW on the transition of existing operations of the Sydney Harbour Tunnel, before operational commencement from 1 September 2022.
On the Western Harbour Tunnel, Ventia will provide services during the procurement, design and construction phases, before moving to provide asset management, operations and maintenance services once the project is completed.
