Expressions of Interest are being sought from senior leaders within RA’s membership for the role of Deputy Chair of our Sustainability Policy Stream, following Jay Stricker stepping away from the role recently.
RA takes this opportunity to thank Jay for all of her dedication as Deputy Chair, which has helped build the Sustainability Policy Stream into a strong and active one.
The Deputy Chair’s responsibilities include working with the Chair of the Policy Stream, Marko Misko, helping to guide the sustainability policy program at RA, as well as attending meetings of RA’s Policy and Strategy Committee.
Ideally, nominees should have an understanding of RA’s policy work in sustainability, including our recent Journey to Net-Zero report, as well as the efforts of Australian and international governments in delivering sustainable outcomes for transport infrastructure and services.
