A 2019 Roads Australia Fellow, 2025 Fellowship Program Mentor and public sector leader, Ana will share her career and industry insights.
DR ANA GLAVINIC, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, NORTHERN WATER BIO
Dr Ana Glavinic is the Executive Director, Northern Water within the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT), responsible for the pre-delivery and procurement of the Northern Water Project. This multibillion-dollar water infrastructure project is designed to provide a sustainable water supply to the northern outback of South Australia and aims to enhance economic opportunities, fostering growth in sectors such as mining, hydrogen, and green steel production.
Ana’s advancement through DIT is further marked by a number of executive roles across the Department including Road and Marine Services, Commercial and Contract Management, Transport Planning and Program Development and Asset Management. These roles have enabled Ana to identify synergies across divisions and develop a strategic view of DIT’s operations.
