RA members Holcim and BMD Group have shown their commitment to supporting vulnerable group in the community, recently joining forces to support a project for Habitat for Humanity.
Team members from both Holcim and BMD spent a day working to restore the former Mercy Place site at Bardon in inner-city Brisbane, transforming it from office administration and conference facilities used by the Sisters of Mercy Congregation into a refuge for women and children seeking to escape domestic violence.
With so many team members pitching in to support the painting works needed as part of the project were completed quickly, helping to prepare the site for its new purpose supporting some of the most vulnerable people in Brisbane.
