This week saw the official launch of the Road Trauma Support Group NSW (RTSGNSW) at Parliament House in Sydney.
The organisation has been established to be the voice of families of road trauma when a loved one is killed by an illegal act of a road user.
RTSGNSW provides support and education to support victims of road trauma and continue to campaign for reform as to ensure there are more effective connected support systems in place to adequately help victims through the experience of road trauma.
The launch event featured guest speakers including the Minister for Metropolitan Roads, The Hon. Natalie Ward MLC, Shadow Attorney General, Michael Daley MP, Deputy Commissioner of NSW Police, Peter Thurtell and Director of Homicide Victims Support Group, Martha Jabour, OAM.
