WestConnex CEO, Andrew Head, Aurecon MD – Government, Aneetha de Silva, and Ventia CEO, Mike Metcalfe, have all been elected to the RA Board.
They replace Sandra Dodds, Greg Steele and Dennis Cliche. Ms Dodds and Mr Cliche both resigned from their respective roles with Broadspectrum and Sydney Motorway Corporation during the year, while Mr Steel is moving into a more senior international role with Arcadis as Group Executive for Asia Pacific.
Roads Australia President, David Stuart-Watt, who was also re-elected, thanked the retiring directors for their service.
“Sandra in particular has been a strong Board advocate for workplace diversity, whilst both Greg and Dennis have played key policy development roles in the areas of journey reliability and transport reform, respectively.
“On behalf of their fellow directors and members, I thank them for their contributions and wish them well for the future.”
Mr Stuart-Watt added that the three new elected directors brought significant and diverse industry experience and skills to the Roads Australia Board.
