Women in Construction grants now open

Infrastructure NSW is pleased to share that applications have opened for the Women in Construction Industry Innovation Program (IIP) Year 2.

The IIP provides grants to construction industry organisations, including associations and contractors, to boost the number of women working in construction trade and non-traditional roles.

Following a successful first year, which saw 21 initiatives receiving funding, Infrastructure NSW is once again looking to support innovative industry-led initiatives that aim to create a more diverse, safe and inclusive construction industry for all.

Grants between $30,000 and $300,000 will be available for projects that meet the Program Guideline criteria and Program objectives to encourage participation and retention of women in the construction sector by:

  • Creating inclusive workplace cultures, including by improving employee wellbeing and supporting flexible working arrangements;
  • Increasing the number of women entering and staying in the industry; and
  • Supporting women in leadership and female employees.

Find out more information on eligibility criteria, assessment criteria, assessment processes, key objectives, and timeframes on the IIP Year 2 grants page.  If your organisation is interested in applying, please read the Program Guidelines for further detail.

An application link is available on the NSW Women in Construction website and IIP Year 2 grants page.
