RA Cities for the Future - Learning from our neighbours (Sydney)

28/02/2019 10:00 to 28/02/2019 14:00

Venue: Doltone House (Jones Bay Wharf)

Please join us for this Transport Reform Chapter Forum where we will discuss our newly released Cities for the Future Report.

In September 2018, Roads Australia led a delegation of senior leaders to Tokyo, Seoul and Singapore to investigate how these governments have built their city transport networks to cater for population growth and improve liveability, and how they are now preparing for the introduction of autonomous vehicles. At this event you will hear short presentations from the delegates about what they learnt on the trip, followed by a panel discussion on their insights into how Australia can better manage its networks into the future. We will also get an update from Transport for NSW on their CAV trials and developments in NSW.

We are currently planning our Roads Australia 2019 Study Visit - Future Transport and Smart Cities. The tour will take us to key regions in the USA including Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Washington DC and Michigan, beginning on July 13th with the Automated Vehicles Symposium in Orlando, Florida and ending on 4th August. Please contact Anna Jabour to register your interest.
