The Hon. Jaala Pulford, Minister for Roads, Road Safety and the TAC
Jaala has been a member of the Victorian Legislative Council since 2006, representing Western Victoria Region.
Before entering politics, she worked as an Organiser for the National Union of Workers Victorian Branch.
Following the election of the Andrews Government in November 2014, Jaala was appointed Minister for Agriculture, Regional Development and Deputy Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council. Following last November’s State election, Jaala was given portfolio responsibility for Roads, Road Safety and the TAC, and Fishing and Boating.
Jaala grew up in Castlemaine, attending Bendigo Senior Secondary College, and now lives with her husband and son in Ballarat. She has a Bachelor of Applied Management from University of Ballarat and has since completed a Masters of Public Policy at Deakin University.
Jeroen Weimar, CEO - Public Transport Victoria (PTV)
Jeroen joined PTV in 2015 as Executive Director, Performance and Contract Management and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2016.
As CEO of PTV, Jeroen oversees the management of Victoria’s public transport network, leading a team of passionate and dedicated staff to provide safe, reliable and inclusive public transport for around two million passengers a day across Victoria’s trains, trams and buses.
Jeroen was appointed Chair of the V/Line Board in July 2018. As Chair, Jeroen provides oversight of V/Line’s strategic direction and service delivery to the thousands of Victorians who rely on the regional network every day.
A graduate of the London School of Economics, Jeroen first began his career in management consulting, working with clients in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. He then held several high-profile roles over ten years with Transport for London (TfL) including Chief of Staff and Chief Operating Officer (Surface Transport).
Following his time with TfL, Jeroen served as Managing Director, UK Transport for Serco Group plc, and then Chief Operating Officer - UK Bus at FirstGroup plc.
