The Right Honourable, the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Councillor Adrian Schrinner
Councillor Schrinner commenced as Lord Mayor in April this year following the resignation of Graham Quirk.
has been a member of Civic Cabinet since 2008, including most recently as Deputy Mayor, and currently also serves as its Chair. Former roles include Chair of the Finance and Economic Development Committee (2008-2012), Chair of the Infrastructure Committee (2012-2016), and most recently Chair of the Public and Active Transport Committee (since 2016).
Councillor Schrinner was first elected to Council in a by-election in September 2005 and re-elected at the general elections in 2008, 2012 and 2016. In the 2016 election, he received the highest preference vote (70.19%) of any councillor across the 26 wards.
His focus as Lord Mayor is on building the critical infrastructure the city needs while protecting its unique lifestyle and expanding its green space.
Outside of politics, Adrian and his wife Nina have four children and live in Carindale.

Bookings received 48 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed unless a confirmation has been received by the Events Director. Cancellations should be notified in writing by email. Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%. No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed.
